General Secretary’s Message

Dear Learners,

The main aim to start Laxman Devram Sonawane College is to provide quality and value based education to all the students from different strata of our society. The value based courses in Degree College includes BMS, B. Sc. in Computer Science and Information Technology. In Junior College, along with Arts, Commerce and Science courses, we also offer Electronics, Computer Science and Information Technology subjects.

Last year, we have introduced Add-On –Courses of University of Mumbai and vocational courses at +2 levels to enhance their employability. Education is meant not only to impart formal education but an implicit effort is always on to developing the overall personality of the students. The college has been successful in organizing various extra-curricular, co-curricular activities to promote the overall personality of the students, his social awareness and responsibilities. Such opportunities are provided to the students through different bodies like NSS, Marathi Vangmaya Mandal, Hindi Vangmaya Mandal, English Literary Association, History Association, Economics Association, Science Association, WDE & DLLE.
